Does anyone else suffer from weird neighbour syndrome?

If anyone is in Scotland just now, You will know that the weather is worse than terrible. Twice i have went out and picked the wheelie bin up. Last time i looked out, It was on its side again.

But yet, My next door neighbour, A single 40-something year old man, is out in the pishing rain and high winds at 8pm on a Sunday night puting up a shed on his own.

Thats not even half of the st he does.

He goes out to his car, which is always on the street and never in his 2-car driveway, And opens the boot, looks in, closes it, locks the car and goes back in the house. At least 3 times a day.

He also stands at the bottom of the driveway and drinks his cup of tea while looking at nothing, Just looking up and down the street.

Cleans his windows with newspaper.

Leaves his toilet light on all night, I imagine to trick 'baddies' into thinking someone is still awake. In the toilet.

He's just very strange and freaks me out if i see him at the window when im outside. Its just all very abnormal stuff, I could understand if he was just going about his business but he's not, he just does mad st.

Should i just move house and be done with it or rent it out to smackheads for £1 a week.

Cleaning windows with newspaper works really well, actually.

Don't know about the other stuff.

Fair enough about the paper but he does it in he pissing rain and stupid times of the day.

And the only reason i see him is because of the angle our houses are at.

Probably bored (if he's single and lives alone) and hoping to meet someone to chat to.

Why not pop round and ask him for window cleaning tips?? biggrin

hahah op made me laugh, sounds like a blokesish thing to do to make a shed in the pouring rain at night. The toilet light is funny.

Right heres one of my neighbours:

They have 2 clocks facing outside in their lounge, so the clocks are showing to the street outside, not to the room!

Its weird enough having a clock to tell the outside world the time, but two clocks??WTF is that about????? two clocks?????

Anyone any ideas why? id love to ask them but I never see anyone there and I couldnt keep a straight face if I did!!!!

I drink tea/coffee at the end of my driveway for two reasons; I'm a smoker in a non-smoking household and I also like to survey my manor.

Yup, scrunched up + vinegar type glass cleaner. Good if you have got polish on your windscreen as well...
