i currently have a flat to let and have been shocked at how bad the estate agents have handled it, and now i want to sell. i have long been of the opinion, what with the internet and all that estate agents should by now be defunct and have heard in the past of web sites where one can market your property yourself. any advice?

Would it not be easier and better for you to let the property yourself, thus bypassing the extorionate Estate Agent fees?

We got to the day of exchange and they then pulled out - a couple in their 50's - seems he got cold feet. Done us a favour with hindsight though.
