Anyone see it this morning? 2 feet deep and maybe 80 feet long.

Some 'tard in an Astra had gone in, changed their mind, tried to do a 3-point turn to get out again and, surprisingly, got stuck.

Didn't see it this morning, let the wife take the wee man to school! paperbag But by all accounts it was pretty clear as she got to Echt and back no problem at about 9.

Gadie burn had burst its banks the whole way from insch to inverurie. A biggish puddle on the A96, i was worried in my too low car and opted for air intake side on the verge for some reassurance to the ground height!

Stonehaven was worst hit it seems, and that's my pals mother barricading her house up with pillowcases full of sand. The house survived but their shop didn't. cars floating around the square by all accounts. For that to happen beside the sea shows just how much rain fell.

Road from Huntly to Alford was really bad early evening and it only got worse I think. Dunecht was the worst I've ever seen it this morning and that was after the flood had subsided considerably. But I love flooding being a rivers scientist!

My road to work was somewhat flooded this morning also!

The fence posts are 3 - 4 feet high and some are completely submerged.

Jeepers!

Noticed that the Aspire golf range on the S'Deeside Road is almost completely under water yikes

Feel very sorry for those houses that sit just off the Dee as well.

Anyone know where I can P/X the Zed for a boat...? laugh

Was out having a look about 9pm last night and the water has fallen back about 6 - 7m from where it was in that picture, maybe even slightly more, still flowing at a rate of knots though!

There is however a huge tree blocking the road just before the hazard sign. It covers from fence to fence then about 4m into the field, really does show how powerfull water can be.

And we drove along this road to work this morning. Water still about 4 - 6 inches deep in places and quite a bit of debris (including tree trunks) at the side, but passable with care.
