my current contract was up for an upgrade last month, i wanted the new Nokia N900, so i waited, the launch was then pushed back so i took the plunge last week, paid the £23 extra and ordered it.

Now i'm thinking, i might just sell it when it comes as i'm happy with my N95 8GB and it's just a phone, i text, call people and go on the internet with it and thats about it.

I'm thinking i'd rather have the outrageous amount of money that they seem to be selling for instead of using it myself. where as a year or so ago the thought would have never crossed my mind.

Am i getting old, or just tight?

i got an LG viewty free on upgrade when they first came out. they were selling for £300+ on ebay at the time but i kept it. i then found it to be among the sttest phones ever made and threw it away within a year.

Yeah, I got an iPhone on 2 year contract. What a mistake that was. Piece of junk. Only 19 months to go...

Should have stuck to my £10-a-month Orange contract...

Thats kind of what i'm thinking as well, if it wasn't for the N900 i'd stick with my N95, its the best phone i've ever had.

The N900 is the first using Nokia's new OS as well so there are bound to be bugs.

when i think about it, fancy new phone or money toward getting my golf on the road....

My smartphone binge is over as of last year.

When my iPhone business phone contract is up, I am transferring over to my remaining G1 phone to become the business number, and getting a cheap-as-possible PAYG phone to replace it.

Can't be arsed any more. I don't even piss about with the phones features any more, I just wwant to be able to make and receive calls and the occasional text these days.

Anyone notice that the newer contracts are more expensive? I have the Blackberry, and had it for years and pay £12 a month with unlimited data. They were asking if I wanted to upgrade to a new contract for £25 a month, providing me with exactly what I have now. Uhh - no thanks.

When my £30pm contact runs out in 5 months I'm either getting a cheap as piss PAYG sim or a cheap as piss contract, £15pm kinda shight. Get meh?
