Hi

A guy at work has had his TT serviced at a non Audi dealership, and the Engine Management light is still on to remind him, I think, to get the car serviced. Is there any way of switching it off without a trip to Audi and their diagnostic equipment

Thanks in advance

Ha the engine management light is nothing to do with the service light. You need to get the fault codes read.

If its the service light, the procedure to reset it should be in the handbook, it is for my Golf.

If its the Check Engine Light, then it needs the fault code read. CEL can lead to an open can of worms.

Have had the check engine light come on for coil packs and coolant sensor in my old TT. Both are common problems although the first you'd notice even without the light
