Will it fit in mini ?

Is it possible to fit the seat to be very low as possible ?

do u think grey center, with black sides look out of place in mini interior?

Excellent seats for a Mini.
Colours should be fine as well.
You may need to make up some mounting frames, but then you can set the seats to the optimim height when you do this.
If anyone is interested I should have a good pair of 1991 Cooper 1275 seats for sale at a low price soon as I am going to fit the very lightweight Sparco Sprint seats (5.6Kg each) into the F1400 Enduro Rally Mini i'm just starting building. Anyone interested?

I've done this a couple of times, MG Metro seats are great in a mini. I bought some seat mounts for the back of the seat from the company that became MiniSpeed, they were about £25 I seem to remember. I made the front mounts from 2mm angle drilled and bolted to the upper mountings of the existing seat mounts on the cross member. Wasn't really far enough back for me, but as a first pass it wasn't bad.

Black MG seats are early ones, and therefore quite desirable........ Grey ones are ok, but the later ones are not very hardwearing so earlier ones are better.

Hi Dave,

I don't know as the car is at Chris Spen's having the bodywork done. I'll have a look.
Hope all is well with you

If you want to bolt the seats further back fix them with the 2mm angle mentioned before but on the back of the cross member. Only problem you may have is the bins might get in the way. I fixed a pair of Recaros from a Sierra Cosworth in mine like this and the position is much more comfortable.
