Is this not simply a result of having so many channels?
YES! Far too many. It may be a case of choice, but with the hundreds we do have they now need to be filled with crap like 'Dating in the dark' or zillions of 'cops in cars'.I would rather have 10 channels of quality with chosen programming. Yes, I do have Sky but I always seem to creep back to the main 5 channels mainly due to a show moved from network to network and called 'new to ......' when its obvious its the same one.
Or other channels showing really old dated rubbish. I see Challange TV is still showing Bullseye! That finished in about 1995.
Time filling rubbish.

Great film, with one of the best characters of all time in the form of the mighty Snake Pliskin. And yes, it is a bit of a cult classic.
The sequel is, however, a complete pile of s

The original is great as a 'switch your brain off' cult classic. The sequel is, however, a complete pile of s

The sequel is no more than the original, slightly dressed up with more modern special effects. The storyline is pretty much identical.
One step up from Battlefield Earth that was on the other night... why in god's name I put myself through that for a 2nd time I shall never know.
In fact I think I know why... It's exactly like that clip of the chap on top of the train electrocuting himself, when I saw it the first time I wished I hadn't, but I just had to watch it again in the vain hope that it wasn't as bad as it initially looked. Only then to realise that on watching it a second time, I noticed that the bloke wasn't just dead, but was in fact was in fact so dead that he could more accurately be described as a collection of burning, charred ash arranged into the shape of an indian.

I put myself through that the other night (though in my defence it was the first time I'd seen it).. I don't think I will again.Gassing Station | TV, Film, Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
