Please hang in there a little bit longer. smile

I'm nobody to make suggestions really... I don't walk in your shoes,
but I've felt so impoverished by my car I was litterally (and I'm NOT kidding) to the point of almost smashing my car up with a sledge hammer. I can't part it out here, no buyers, so I figured if I smashed it to shid, I'd be free of an impoversihing money pit.

It's a tough long haul putting one of these back together... I can relate...I'd I'd hazard to guess I paid more money for my piece of shid than you did for your "pile of bits".. maybe that's what kept me from destroying the car?

Good luck to you and your car whatever happens. smile

Hi Brian the doors have no handles but the mechanism is still there - no glas but I have the rear runner (not the runner under the mirror)
The tub will be cut up if there is interest
Cheers Shaun

Hi - have you shifted the bonnet yet? If not, I'm interested - where are you located?

Cheers, Steve

Hi Steve I still have the bonnet. I'm in Burton on Trent (staffs) I can send via carrier if you are too far away. Cheers Shaun

It was A frame. I know, I bought both A frames on ebay.

Just got to find time to fit them.

Hi Brap-Brap,

Sorry I didn't reply to you

I took the view with the amount of cash and time I was throwing at this project i would end up

1) Broke
or
2) Divorced
or
3) Not on the road for a further 2 years
or
All of the above

In reality I think it was really too far gone hence the new toy to play with on Monday smile

Cheers mate

Shame it's not a couple of months down the line, once I move I'll have plenty of storage space for... er... bits biggrin

Anybody bagged the fuel tanks Shaun?

hi shaun
if you are dumping the shell to get rid, i could take the front section (from the middle of the wheel arch) and store ,just i case else needs it in the future.
I live in Burton and could collect, let me know.
I've attached pics of my just in case, now repaired.

Not sure it's worth keeping a broken front end, as we (as in the TVR Racer's) have light weight wedge front end moulds, standard and SEAC style. as seen on the racers. be easier and pos cheaper to fit one of these than rebuild the one of that car.
