perhaps worth getting email or a telephone so you dont have to use the forum to post up 121 emails?

To be fair, I think he has tried. You've gotta explore all avenues of contact. Sometimes posting on here is the only way to get a response from some people. They soon disappear of the front page, so no harm done.

Not having a pop but its simply about forum etiquette.

There were 2 similar threads from op which were effectively private emails and just clog up the forum / pistonheads.

If you want to speak to Wortec or check when items are being dispatched by Monkfish then just ring or email them directly rather than creating a new thread - if everybody did it the forum would be full of tat.

Benno, I can also understand your point, but this forum is about communication. A lot of the main specialists and dealers frequent this forum and sometimes when you've tried ringing and emailing, this is the only way to get their attention so to speak.

There are up sides to this of course, as it can open up debate and highlight issues other motorists are experiencing. For example, my query to the Fish highlighted the fact that there are several other Monaro owners having the same issue as me with wheel judder. I wouldn't have known that if I hadn't started that thread. Somtimes it's good to open things up to discussion, even if it seems trivial at the time.

I do take your point about cluttering up the forum and posts about nothing, but they soon go from the front page and you don't have to read them, so does it really matter?

As I've said before, this is a really helpful and friendy forum, so lets not start moaning at each other. These sort of post obviously irritate a couple of people but why not just ignore them. It's like when people moan about people posting topics that have already been covered and make sarcastic comments like "have you tried using search?". Well the search facility isn't that great and sometimes new members just need a little help finding information. Lets just keep it friendly.

Peace, love and respect hippy
