As per title. Only needed for a day to whip an engine out. Will then be needed for another day in about 3 months to put it back in again.

Deposit can be left, and some beer tokens! thks

Only needed for a K series coming out of a caterham, so don't need a really heavy duty crane!

Shame; I've got one in my neighbour's garage* you could've borrowed, but I'm in Guildford (probably a little too far).

  • Yes, he's been very nice about that.

Hmm - I've not received one yet either. Perhaps the PM system isn't working at this moment in time...

Or neither of us know how to use it correctly smile

What sort of timescales do you need it by?

I've just set up a temporary email address - I'll close it down in a day or so.

I'm in SW London. Thanks for the kind offer. I'll see if I can make contact with Jason first, as Guildford is easier for me to reach than Kent in the first instance! Cheers

Just in case, I've got your email and have replied to it.

Oddly enough, I'm in Kent (albeit Maidstone) fairly regularly myself...

Sorry to resurrect this topic. I managed to source an almost new Clarke 'strong arm', but after it p1ssed it's hydraulic fluid all over the back of my car (due to not having the vent plug fitted), despite being refilled as per the instructions on Clarke's site, it's unable to lift the jib past the horizontal....

I need to take the engine out of the car whilst the car is sat on a trailer (for storage and space reasons), so I need a hoist with a jib that can fully extend.

Any offers?!

Just to say that it wasn't mine smile Although I don't think mine would take the engine out while it's on a trailer anyway.
