Notts to Aberdeen..spot the Lie

Drove all the way from Nottingham to Aberdeen on Monday...car went like a dream, not one niggle, even managed to average 46 MPG. One thing tho....never saw a single TIV, lots of other exoctics, even had a play on little play with a brand new AM Vantage (he pulled along side of me and Mouthed TVR and gave me big thumbs up). But not one TIV!!!

Not really a lie, but you forgot to put a decimal point between the 4 and 6.

Ermm reckon i spotted the lie
13 gallon tank 46mpg x 13 = 598 miles per tank
Unless my maths are a bit out........

20 on a good day more likely

I've done Aberdeen-Leeds twice in mine (Verb 4.5) without fuss or Drama - not to mention two 2000mile trips to Europe, again without fuss or drama.

Really, i find driving a TVR is full of drama and i love the fuss people make of the car!!

The situation with the Vantage also happened to me and my dad when we were in the Chim. I think there's some mutual respect between TVR owners and owners of other British sports cars. Plus, every red blooded male loves a TVR!
