Having had a good go in a 670 SV, I can tell you it sounds nothing like that as standard (unless you've got your head in the exhaust). To be honest, for such a monstrous car, it's a little disappointing at low revs and inside.

It loosens up quite nicely with mileage, mine is now over 5000km and will be nudging 6000 after this weekend, now feeling ballistic even below 4700rpm. And I love the "low revs" noise, especially as you pull away, it growls and howls in equal measure

There's no question that it's performance is quite unbelievable. But TBH even the stock LP640 is devastating especially at three figure speeds.
However, I can't say I agree with you about the sound though. It's lame. Quiet, and dare I say it, "boring" even, until you thrash it, at which point your speed is illegal. Annoying.
Awesome car though.
