Anyone know how i can get info on my car

Had a nice conversation with the previous owner of my car today who told me he had some problmes with the car hense him sending it back to the dealer.

He said he had an issue when he was going over about 50mph a loud rotational grinding which got worse and some issues with the air con fan etc.

He had only owned the car for three months and it spent 90% of its time in the VX garage diagnosing problems.

He soon got pissed of with this to the point he handed the car back to them in July 2008 in replacement for something else.

It seems to me that these issues have been corrected cause it only went up for sale in Oct 2008 when i bought it but what i wanted to know is if there was any way of finding out exactly what was carried out etc...and where costs....

He also said the front bumper looked a bit off colour as if it had been resprayed and not re-aligned properly, thought this was probably due to stone chips resulting in a respray, no sign of crash damage nor has it been registered as damaged etc.

Any help on locating such info would be greatly appreciated.

Can you not just ask the garage that did the work ? Or if it was carried out under warranty (which I assume it was) can't you just phone up/email Vauxhall and request the information ?

As above really just get in touch with the VX dealer and ask for a copy of the warranty work they have undertaken on the car, will have it all on records.
