Hi Folks,

Does anyone know if there is a firework display that's not going to be total crap anywhere that's actually on the 5th?

Cheers,
Ben

There's normally a pretty decent fireworks display at Imber Court in Esher. I haven't been for a few years but it certainly used to be pretty good and from memory they seem to hold it on the 5th.

The Shoulder of Mutton pub in Playhatch is holding a 'banger for a banger' fireworks party on Thursday 5 November 2009.

For each member of the family they will supply a free jacket potato and one filling in exchange for one big firework from the whole family.

After the display they then serve hot pancakes in aid of the RNLI. There will be a full bar, a warm pub and lots of hot drinks to keep the chills at bay.

Details: Doors open at 18.30, firework display from 19.30/ 20.00 for an hour. More details: 0118 947 3908

Nigel, that does sound like fun, but if it's home fireworks I'd rather blow them up in my back garden hehe

That might just be the ticket, cheers Nathan.

I assume they're not bringing that one back for you then? I'm almost tempted to see if they want a yellow s3.

Well news, plan agreed and he's taken his best guess at how big the bill will be and it's pretty fking scary, however not as bad as it would have been if we'd got the head from VAG.

rofl luckily he didn't tell me how much he'd give me for it. However I did just speak to someone else that had just got himself an S3 for a grand as it's fked. my car is worth more to me than a grand even with no engine hehe
