Hi,

Hope you can offer some opinions to help with my quandry.....

Thinking of getting a Gallardo MY06 onwards and wondered whether the Egear commanded a premium over the manual in the same way it does with F430's?

Also, trawling through the ads has revealed an 06 egear coupe with 30k miles for £70k. Seems a good price but is the price difference reflective of the mileage? BTW has anyone seen this car in the flesh or know anything about it's history??

Thanks

They command a financial premium as the e-gear is a significant cost option hence the premium. Whether they are more desireable than a manual is down to your personal preference.

-Mileage (within reason) wouldnt worry me. It may significantly affect resale value if you also churned up 10K a yr in miles each yr, but prob. not much.
-E Gears are easier to drive with i think, but (generally) wears the clutch quicker than manuals. On the flip side, you can easily test how worn an e gear clutch is, so can better understand when exactly you need to replace it
