I've signed a few and have only ever recieved an e-mail to notify a response.

Has anybody really recieved any spam? This would surely contravene some major rules on party propoganda?

Couldn't believe this when I received the e-mail.
What a deluded bunch of idiots.
The best thing for the economy would be to get a different leader on board.

It's not spam as such, more winkys reply to our concerns, for example, this is the one I got today relating to the "why doesnt gordon go" petition

The Prime Minister is completely focussed on restoring the economy, getting people back to work and improving standards in public services. As the Prime Minister has consistently said, he is determined to build a stronger, fairer, better Britain for all.

I'ld be interested to know the actual take up of these petitions by the government. What I've seen is they haven't picked up any of them I've had an interest in. Is it just lip service ?

I was going to ask the same thing.

The whole thing seems like a 'but we are listening to you, honest!' deal to placate the gullible.

This is a complete waste of space. I filled out a petition MONTHS ago that called for Brown's resignation. They actually got back to me yesterday, spouting more BS than i had time to read.

Gordon Brown is the man to lead us out of this global problem. Yeah bks.
