Just come back from Holiday in Sicily and thought Id share a few Photos of a day out Ive been meaning to do for a few years now, driving the Targa Florio.


We did the short course,and along with a trip to the museum,it took 5 1/2 hours to complete.

Driving it makes you appreciate just how dangerous it was in the day.
I believe Vic Elford did the short course in 30 odd minutes.

It must have been a bit like IOM TT in a le mans car in the the 70s.

The road was a bit bumpy.Apparantly the gt40s didnt like it.I wouldnt like to pit a gt40 againstthe Florio.!


It was one of the most enjoyable days ive had in a long time.

Id like to do it with a bit faster though!

Ill do the long course next time I go.
