Wanted ls1. Engine and 6 speed gearbox

[Mrsengineering]

Hi
I'm looking for an ls1 engine and gearbox. From a monaro or hsv.

Can anybody help as i don't know anyone I can trust in the states.

Would be good if it was a salvage car or somthing.

Help please.
Cheers

Look for F body parts in the US if you can't find something here. They have a good reputation or search the camaro forums/ebay etc. Pontiac GTO is another option.

Hi I have emailed them and had no responce.

Phoning may convince them you're serious, then you can email your contact. Also, look over at LS1 Tech in the classifieds.

You could buy an engine over here and get the box later?

http://www.clevelandpickapart.com/ have a good rep too and it's where I got my GTO LS1 and box from without any problems.
