North West Servicing
Discussion
My 96 P Chim is due for servicing soon and I was hoping that someone could suggest alternative places to get the service other than near Northwich, in the North West. I haven't had any bad experiences with any one garage, I just want to shop about a bit.
I had thought of maybe taking a trip to Blackpool and getting the service at TVR, is this an expensive option?
Thanks.

I have booked car in for service at C Neils in Northwich, because they can do it when I have a week off after the Easter bank hol. Next time a service is required I will try and book at the factory if I can remember to book it far enough in advance.
Quoted price for service at the factory was slighty less than C Neils, but not much in it. Difference in price would probably equal the cost of the petrol to get to Blackpool.

I disagree. I used to live in Chesire and without naming names or giving reasons, I would always take my car back to the factory. The factory is slightly less than a main dealer - and you can be sure that there will never be excuses for not doing something, not having the right part etc. Also, the factory has all the proper equipment for setting up wheel geometry - part of the service. I don't think your local TVR dealer can match that. Just IMHO of course.
