Afternoon all,

basically I purchased a set of 15mm spacers and longer bolts for my E36 and the spacers are too big. The wheels are rubbing on the arch.

This may sound like a stupid question but here goes:

A mate is going to precision machine 3mm off the spacers, will he need to shorten the bolts also for 3mm?

Cheers

Almost definitely yo will or else they could dig into the brakes/bearings behind the hub face.

Yup, the bolt length must match the spacers.

Can you not have the arches rolled?

I see, thanks for the input. Roling the arches would cost to much I think. Is there some sort of home made method anyone knows about?
