What do the job roles entail exactly?

What is the basic wage?

Thanks

I'd imagine you'll turn up, be put in a room with a bunch of other people who are desperate to achieve.

In will walk some middle aged failed double glazing salesman who will give you some americanised motivational speech about "its you that controls your own destiny"..

they'll then tell you that very recently they changed their policy and dont offer any more than a very nominal basic salary but that this was because the majority of their employees liked the challenge blah blah.

If you stay you'll be given some generic sales pack and some type of sales "training"..

then you'll be pounding the streets, cold calling, finding your own leads. Any you convert to sales you'll get a nominal amount.

There will be some type of unachievable structure shown to you which will ask "why couldnt you be earning £100,000 in the first year?"

thats its.

I did similar out of college. Taught me a few things (not to be niaive for one), it was hard work, not very rewarding.

Does the OP know how to do cold calling?

Its a fun job and BTW watch boiler room for an idea on what kind of things the interviews will be like and naive people that attend... ignore the content of the film though
