I live in a nice aeaa, with generally nice people. However the quite middle-class family next door have some right barneys between Him/her and the two late teenage kids. Often there is shouting/screaming and f'ing and blinding and a couple of times the old man and one of the lads have been out in the garden threatening each other. Police have been in the past but by the time they arrive it is all quiet although one neighbour did threaten then with an ASBO if they continued.
Came to a head today when I was out and my 74 year father in law came across the father laying into the son against the car, and distracted the father enough for the son to escape. Next thing the lad's bags are coming out of the bedroom window onto my drive which is under the bedroom window. Luckily the car was with me because the debris included a bottle of some sort which smashed where my car had been 20 minutes earlier. My concern is that knowing the father-in-law, had hhe lad's father continued to punch the lad he would have intervened which at the age of 74 with a dodgy ticker isn't a good idea.
So, PH massive , what to do:

leave scaffolding pipes, knives, chains and a gun on their drive - they'll finish themselves off quicker so it'll leave you to enjoy some peace and quiet

List the stuff in the bags on your drive on ebay.
Tell the lad to man up, that any teenager who cannot do his old man over is a pufta.
Tell the dad, the teenager called him a pufta and wipes his jizzy nob on dad's pillow.
Sell some tickets.
Doubt my lad will be doing me over until i am very very old and infirm. Wishful thinking perhaps.Tell the lad to man up, that any teenager who cannot do his old man over is a pufta.

Was a defining moment in my life (and probably his) when I found myself with my hand round my dads throat and his feet a foot off the ground when I was 20 and he had a go at my wife, didn't really realize my priorities had shifted until that point. However, he never EVER spoke to me like a kid from that point on in life. And now he'd quite happily let me fight his battles for him, wise wise old man!
