Why am i not getting PM's?

My email address in my profile is right but i sent a pm the other day and didnt get a copy or reply and someone just said they have pm'd me but no email!

any idea why?

I believe that one of the hamsters ain't well at the moment, poor little sod is feeling real poorly.
