He was a Mooslim who was against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan (apprantly) - but that's hardly the way to show your feelings is it.....prat! What state was this in? Is there still the death penalty for this prat I wonder?

I heard he just wanted out of the army. He tried lots of times to get out but they kept dragging him back in. He even tried to buy his way out of contract.
In the end he decided to kill a load of people.

Yeah I saw, but it's way too long to catch up on now. I only really read whole threads if I keep up with them post by post.
