Which wire is the ignition +ive into the stereo?

Just trying to wire in my Parrot 3200 that was working fine in my old 3 series a while ago, my new car is a 2005 A4 S-Line Avant, with the Concert single shot CD player, and if it makes any difference, the Audi aftermarket iPod connector that makes it think it has a CD changer in the boot.

Almost there, but I've worked out that the alignment of the pins on some of the DIN plugs on the Parrot is not the same as the alignment of the DIN plugs on the car.

As I've left my multimeter on my boat, can anyone tell me which dashboard wire I should be splicing into for the ignition "on/off" positive?

has your car got climate control?

if it has then either black / red or black / blue in one of the plugs on the back you will need a meter though as i'm not 100% from memory

if it hasn't got climate then fuse box black / blue or depending on the year cigar lighter..
