s4 brake conversion
Discussion
hi guys,i need information on how to succesfully convert my 1999 audi a4 1,8t front brake setup to an 1998 s4 setup i bought and refurbished from a guy telling me it will go straight on.
i tried fitting the other day and found that the bolts that fix the caliper carrier are much further apart than my original setup thus not been able to fit succesfully.ive been down to the scrap yard to see if i can pick up the correct hub carriers so i can do the swap but dont want to fork out any more cash untill i know that i can do it this way, please help people

I don't know this but if you can let me know the engine number of the car the parts are from and the engine number from your car I will endeavour to check what part numbers on the bearing carrier/caliper/stub axle etc. differ for you.
If you know the engine codes yourself then ETOS is online here:
