Gen 7 Toyota Celica 1.8vvti HELP

Hey peeps, my friend has just bought a Gen 7 Toyota Celica 1.8vvti and he want to tune it up hes currently bought a scorpian exhaust system and a k&n Typhoon induction kit but he and i can seem to find anymore affordable mods can anyone help cheers fellas and lasses

The 1.8s in the Gen7 Celicas (moreso with the VVTLi version) are already pretty highly tuned, it's very hard to get significant power gains out of them.

He should look into sticking a supercharger on, that's probably the best way of gaining power.

Or, for big bucks, get hold of the engine and running gear from a Celica GT-Four and try and replicate the Fensport Celica GT4X - which, incidentally, just joined the 200mph club.
