Fiesta ST suspension question

anyone know if suspension from a 08 Fiesta ST will be a straight swap with the suspension on ou 04 Fiesta Silver 1.4??

Long Story short, my friend replaced his Fiesta ST suspension, we have a broken rear shock and he has said i can have his old suspension, which is just under a year old.

Wondered if it would fit.

As far as im aware its a straight swap. The front suspension is geared up for the extra weight of the 2.0 engine so I dont know how another model would react to the suspension set up. The rears will be stiffer springs though.

cheers for your replies, i think i ill just stop being a tight wad and buy a new rear shock, its a ford, not like its expensive
