Just noticed that one of my fog light covers is smashed, surprised to see they are glass.
Anyone know of cost?

Does the fish have any in stock?

Buy a sheet of Lamin-x and put that over the lense before you fit the new lamp.

Monaro VXR for lights ara a whole unit, there is no cover, and yes, they are very expensive for what they are, you could try ebay for one or holmart.com.au

Thanks for the advice.

Anyone fitted one of these, I take it you can access from behind bumper, and not have to remove it??

I bought a couple from the fish in the summer. You don't get much change from £300. They are held in by 4 cross point screws. If they are rusted in you have a bit of a job on as the heads crumble and the best way to get at them is to take the bumper off. You may have to grind the heads off. Best to replace the screws with hex head screws.

The only problem I had fitting mine was getting a trolley jack under the car, i put 2 wheels on the kerb in the end, the screws holding in the fog light are cross head but they are also bolt headed, I think they are either a 8 or 10mm spanner, mine came off no problem.

Ths lights come as singles, you don't have to buy a pair. I remember picking up one for an older car and they weren't cheap!

Question - If the light lens is cracked and has a little hole that has subsequently been covered with with a little piece of sellatape to stop water ingress, would that fail the MOT ?

Not sure, as front fog lights arent required by law. Different if it were the rear.

One of my front fogs is cracked too, just had its first MOT and sailed though fine. So I am leaving it for now as it does not seem to be getting moisture in it.
