I need your help again…

When I switch my headlights on they wont stop going up and down. The actual headlights are working fine but the pods are doing a Mexican Wave! i.e. left up, right up, left down, right down, left up……wobble

It would be quite annoying if it wasn’t so funny!

So anyway, since I actually want to use the car this winter where do I start?

Unusual for them BOTH to do this! It's usually a dodgy connection down in the nose, possibly faulty limit switch or diode in the pod motor... but for them both to go pop at the same time..??!

Bit of info here:

Edit: you haven't been swapping relays around recently have you?

Not recently but had most of them out a few months ago to find out what they did. Would this make any difference as the motors are working, they are just not parking?

It's too dark and cold to get stuck in tonight!

Yeah I think there are three relays. I need some daylight and a dry day to check it out.

I think I'll ask Santa for a multimeter and a solder gun this year. I think I'm gonna need it! smash

This complaint sounds as weird as something I encountered the first summer I owned the car. As one pod went up, the other went down... out of sync.
