In my local garage the other day & was asked if I knew anyone who'd be interested, its a 2008, Red, 700miles, imaculate, LHD, £120k.

which seemed like a good price to me considering the mileage & LHD.

Will get more details if anyone is interested.

Seems 99k is the sweet spot for low miles 08 RHD cars. What made them think they were going to get 120k for it? (it is a 430 coupe right?)

didn't even bother looking through the classifieds here TBO, it is a spyder & low miles but it seems RHD equals are down below £99k in some cases, though most seem to be at £110k >

seems £120k is not a cheap car but a good price for a LHD

as you were biggrin

Need to ask, why is it good for LHD? Who would think that's a good thing to have in the UK? Not trying to start an argument, just genuinely interested why this would demand a higher premium.

GBP:Euro exchange rate now makes that a good proposition for a Continental buyer - 30-odd% discount on a while back.

LHD generally command greater money, hold their value better also which makes it a good choice if you dont mind LHD, I drive opposite hand cars all the time and it makes jot all difference but then I'm used to it.

cheapest in France as a comparison at the moment is about 150k euros and that has x10 mileage, this cars has only done 700 odd miles and is as new, very very mileage conscious in France (dont know about rest of europe) so low mileage cars are sort after.

If you look back a year or two, when the exchange rates were more favourable, you'd find plenty of LHD Ferraris that were cheaper than RHD, its one of the primary why there are so many LHD Ferraris in the UK smile

Mmmmmm, ok then, try ringing any ferrari main dealer here in the UK and ask them what sort of money they would offer on a F430, exact same spec, and then tell them it's a LHD................I would be really surprised if it was the same figure ? confused

exactly. The reason LHD are more money at the moment is these cars are going back into europe were they are worth more. i.e this car would be worth at least 150k euros in Italy.

This is one of the worst points about this country!! Have you seen the LP640 on Blocket?

http://www.blocket.se/goteborg/Lamborghini_Murciel...

That is ALOT of cash for an LP640!

Must... Work... Harder...

Since when has LHD in the UK sold for more than RHD? Anecdotal continental prices dont mean squat. This is the UK market, and you have to discount to offload a cackhander.

I thought this was a bubble that was created by the strong Euro. It's certainly not the norm.

Whilst the pound is devalued - oh, for the next 100 years... - LHD's being more expensive will be the norm!
