One of my favourite shows is back on, caught it tonight on 4OD. I like the format of this series which will be picking the best UK restaurant. There seemed to be a bit of tactical voting going on by one side's family which was a shame as I think the other guys from Bristol deserved the win.
It'll be interesting to see if anyone has been to any of the restaurants they're featuring this season, hopefully there will be enough interest to keep this topic going through the series.

I like Gordon, despite whatever stories have been going around about him recently. He certainly gets stuck in, biting that octopus on the head to kill it - fking disgusting!

That bit was great to watch. Wouldn't of liked to do it myself mind .. Yeah i like the format too.

I liked the old man and his family run restaurant, but he was completely overwhelmed by Lasan last night. Those two guys are very very good.
I was quite surprised how few diners paid for the dessert though. The recipe didn't seem up to much IMO.

after speaking to aktar he said they didnt show that gordon took over the deserts!
