it's a gts F1, from tim at walker sport. firstly i'd like to thank those who recommended tim to me. a top bloke and a pleasure to deal with.
as for the car. i am amazed it took me 4 years to make the jump from my 348. whilst i loved that car and have read many posts on this and other sites extolling the virtues of 348 vs 355, my initial impressions are that the car is a massive leap forward in every aspect. i love the F1 box, the car has a capristo and whilst i dont think i'd shell out that much for an exhaust i am glad the previous owner did. that sound is amazing. apart from dynamic considerations, the interior really makes you feel like you're in a ferrari, i dont think the 348 really does that. to sum up my feelings i include my clarkson-esque thought of the weekend for your consideration. I really think that my driving a 348 for the last few years, kind of convincing myself i didnt want a 355 is akin to one having watched black and white tv for years, and then watching blue ray on a good plasma screen.

I understood from another thread that you had sold it for £30k. Did the buyer pull out, or does this garage have the worst business model imaginable?

he pulled out on the day of purchase, but with valid reasons so wont be holding it against them,i was already commited to a sale and didnt have time to readervtise so asked tim if he wud want it back, and he said without a doubt! as he knows the car thru and thru,so we did a deal, albeit at less than 30k,i will be back in Fcar ownership in jan/feb time,in a 360 spider. in the mean time imsearching fora RRS supercharged as the one i was supposed to be buying has been sold frown

and to reiteraite i will be dealing with tim again as he has helped me out enourmously in the past!
