Rear Spring size on V8 S

Anybody know the correct spring size and poundage for the rear springs on a V8S. i have just removed a set of my car which are AVO and the springs measure 2.25" ID and 9" long. Phoned up AVO and their online guide says that the correct damper type is PG719, they informed me however that this has a 2.5" spring seat, any ideas which is correct?

Both, probably. Different types of damper have different spring diameters and spring seat positions meaning they need different length springs. If you change from Koni to AVO you will need to replace the springs. I'd suggest buying springs and dampers as a set anyway - springs are quite cheap and you ensure they are all new, free from corrosion and sagging, and the right rate for the dampers.

any recommendations for springs/dampers on a V8S?
mine need changing and Austec suggested racing red (as a budget version)..anyone any tips

Just had a closer look and the dampers are marked 718, according to AVO these are specified for the front not the rear?
