Should I remap my C320cdi?

I've been thinking about remapping my C320cdi for a while. I've just realised that DMS are less than half an hour from me, so the proposition just became even more tempting.

Anyone got any experience of words of wisdom to offer? Does the 320cdi benefit considerably from a remap? Mine is an 06 with 60k miles and I wonder whether a remap would start to put other ageing components under too much stress?

When Chris Harris was at the now defunct Drivers Republic.com he had a facelift E320 cdi and had a Brabus chip fitted by Mercedes. IIRC He reported that the 0-60 dropped from the mid-8's to the mid 6's and 0-100 dropped from the low 20's to mid teens. He loved the transformation.

I did the CLS and it goes like hell. No real downsides. JFDI

Hi alfa I believe the brabus remap gives you 276bhp ,luverly jubbly!!! Mind you I believe Its around £1000 (I think)!!!

Did you notice much of a difference with fuel mpg figures?

Do you have the sports suspension ? That car is twitchy at speed and over little bumps.
