Not in UK - but where we go (and all the freeloaders too probably).

Looks like Brunstromia is pulling in the punters

WHat rubbish this is a website for over 50s.All the places that come out tops are all places which lack any pull for young people at all they are welcome to it. I for one will never go to Wales whilst the mad mula is in charge of what was a pleasent place. Only when the tourists stop going will they get rid of him
The Lleyn Peninsula in north Wales has been named the fourth most popular UK holiday destination in an internet poll.
Note: Internet poll ..... Brunstrop probably had all his traffic boys doing something productive ... in submitting the form on the web all afternoon.

Abersoch on the Llyn peninsula is absolutely wall to wall young people all summer. The female ones are also very attractive. Their mums are quite nice too.

Does smell a bit that story doesn't it, question is has it been spun by the BiB/Local Authority or is Neu Labia central offices . Both have vested interests in playing down the reduction in tourist numbers to the region.
Wasn't it one of the local chambers of commerce complaining that he, Brunstom, had single handedly affected the tourism industry of N Wales .
wonder if nay of the papers will latch onto this and spin it straight back from where it came .

Harry

PS This Gov have a lot to answer for, every headline I see now I see the spin angle first and not the 'true' story, which is said because it is muddying my view on the world

I notice that Bath had a higher "score" than North Wales in this poll.

I presume they all go there n=by bus or train - trying to drive around the fg place or park in it is a nightmare.....

The Internet Poll thing is largely irrelevant. Look at those polls about speed cameras. If PHers find it the poll is mobbed and the result comes out strongly not in favour.

So Wales being popular in an Internet Poll just means more IT aware people (who spotted the site that day)like going to Wales...or something..unimportant.

What really matters is tourist spend. I'm glad to hear its going up. But then it would. Remember it was not long ago that we had Foot and Mouth and Wales SHUT. Getting year on year improvements from an all time low isn't hard.

Good news - welcomed cautiously.
