E46 - realignment after new bushes?

I'm going to fit new front wishbone rear bushes to my 328 this week - is it mandatory to have a wheel alignment afterwards, or is it going to line up the same?

Very few carry out a re alignment after replacing the bushes or even the lower arms. Although BM do say you are meant to carry out a KDS.
