007, S WO2TEC and myself are puzzled by this odd looking pipe and bolt..
Looking from the front, you can see a hose that got cut off
with a bolt screwed into it.

the black hose goes somewhere behind the alternator

Have you (or anyone else) got any idea as to what and why has been done there??grumpy

Any advice would be much appreciated! bow

Do you have a standard airbox?
Often breathers don't have a fitting on an aftermarket intake kit, so they get blanked off instead.

My first thought was crank-case breather, but they usually come from the heads, rather than low down.

Didn't Wortec put the engine mods together on this one?

Did these engines have an oil seperator on them?
considering it goes to the sump, it could be the drain for a missing oil seperator
