Battery
Plugs
Oil
Oil filter
Anything else to change ?

hopefully everything went well with the cutting up
How's the new motor, crikey you're taking it apart already
I've bought most of my parts for engine for the 350 and the 400 from CES (Burton), Centrum 100, DE14 2WD (01283 500006).
The battery is 3 years old still going strong on the 350 even though the car is not running (i have to keep re-charging when i try to tinker)

Hi Stephen didn't get round to cutting last weekend as I'm still getting the tanks out

Yes its true - I got another wedge - just a 350i 1988 on the F plate but this ones together and runs!

It has been regularily started but has not been used for two years. My plan is to change plugs, fluids etc before I start her up in anger

I'll post some photos as soon as possible

Plugs - NGK B7ECS rings a bell, though that may be more for the 'hotter' V8s.

Battery - whatever'll fit, 65Ah from memory. Think mine's a 'Type 89'. Though it's dead. Again. And out of warranty
