I just cannot imagine anyone going to the trouble of making a replica and then painting it white?!!

I think it was Nigel Benn (the boxer) who had a 959 replica cabrio built at great expense and painted a sort of pearl white. Saw it over at Parr's once a few years ago. Proper white not a bad colour for a 959 - It was v.popular back in '87 and is a good minimalist motorsport colour. If this car didn't look quite right almost certainly one of the many replica's, which unfortunately have not aged as well as the Carrera donors would have done !
