Newscorp Vs. The BBC.....how will this one play out?
Discussion
It seems to me that the battle lines have well and truly been drawn!
The last week or two has, in my eyes, seen the two camps begin to mobilise for the war to decide our nation's next government.
On one side, the Governement's favourite poodle, the BBC.
On the other, Fuhrer Murdoch's monolithic media empire.
I'm all for a bit of sport, don't get me wrong.
There just seems to be something a little suicidal about the BBC's stance. The chances of their party coming out on top next year is certainly slim, yet they have so solidly stuck their colours to the mast.
So what's going on? Are they really prepared for a vengeful Tory government over at the BBC? Are they totally deluded as to their scope and influence; believing that they alone can turn the tide? Or are they just in so deep already that "in for a penny, in for a pound" seems the appropriate mantra?
As per the title, how dow we see this one playing out, long/medium term?

Can you provide some clear examples of bias in the BBC's reporting of news that supports your claim, please? The last week or two has, in my eyes, seen the two camps begin to mobilise for the war to decide our nation's next government.

Since there's usually at least two sides to every story, can't see any problem with various reporting viewpoints. Read them all and form your own opinion.
But the BBC should present both side with out favour or prejudice. When was the last time that the Beeb represented the doubts over man made climate change?

Better to have many competing interpretations of the news, BBC included.

Follow the links, read, and make up your own mind. If you disagree, they even have a comments section that is open to everybody, should you feel that way inclined.
They seem to do a very good job of fact checking the BBC.

Which makes his insistence in ramming himself so far up the PLPs arse the can count it's collective tonsils even more unsavoury.
