I'm going to the O2 on December 15th to see Depeche Mode. I'm traveling from Ipswich, would it be easier to park there, how much is it and is it easy to get a space? Or should I park at Newbury Park and get a all day underground ticket?, my only concern is that the gig finishes at 11pm and the underground lines to Newbury Park will shut before I can get back the car.

Any recomendations?

I've been about 5 times and never had any problem parking, the tube station car park is only £6 during the week and as you get there about an hour before the gig you'll have no problems getting a space. Wouldn't use the tube as the jubilee line is almost always closed and when it is open it’s always packed after gigs. Don't even think about busses.

Plenty of parking there. It can take a while to get out again though.

What time does it start? On a weekday, the southbound queue into the Blackwall tunnel is always horrid from about 1600 to 2000.
Jubilee engineering closures affect weekends, but not usually a problem mid week.

North Greenwich - right next to the venue.

Agree with 5pen, try to get out of the venue asap when the gig finishes if not slightly before end as the traffic is a killer, better to miss 5 minutes of the show then be stuck in a traffic jam for over an hour
