A3 2.0 fsi

I will be looking at these for a friend of mine. Is there anything that we should be looking for?.

what is the maximum mileage they are capable of before you need to spend money?. He wants the 2.0

fsi 2003 onwards model in sport trim. So over to you should he look at these or avoid them ?.

2.0T or 2.0 TDI instead please!

Gutless and surprisingly thirsty (cheap though).

Crap engine, no point to it. The 2.0 TDI and 2.0T are the ones to have, or stretch to a 1.4T or 1.8T. All four are punchier than the 2.0 FSI and more economical.

I think that he would like the 2.0T but his budget is around 7K. so this limits him to a 2003/4 car

If he has to have a low mileage one then it isn't an awful engine but the alternatives, even with more miles, are hands down better cars.
