lol,
ok, a bit more detail and ask mods to move to the bmw forum
- what engine are you thinking of getting as some diesels can have bills at high mileage?
- e39 or e60?
overall no it isn't as these are designed as high mileage company cars so often do 100k plus within a few year - as long as you are fully aware wear and tear, parts & labour costswill be above average being a BMW then go for it. The amount you save in depreciation will be probably be far more than what will cost you to run.
Make sure you get the right options though.

If you're going to buy a car with over 100k on the clock, you need to make sure that the car has been very well maintained, i.e. regular oil changes, preventative maitenance, stacks of receipts and a full history.
BMW engines, especially the 6/8 cylinders, are very strong engines when looked after and can reach ridiculously high mileage. BMW2002 had an E34 540 sitting on around 130k and ran like a dream and Vixpy1 has an E34 M5 fast approaching 200k and it's running very well indeed.
If an engine is looked after properly, they'll last a life time.
Make sure you check the running gear and suspension over while you're there as they're bound to take more punishment that the engine over the years.

I know its not exactly what you are asking but I have owned a 1993 318 Tourer that lasted up to 155k before expensive things started to go wrong, better still I had a 1988 318 Coupe that I part exchanged with 236k on the clock, aside from a slave cylinder nothing ever went wrong! If you are worrying about buying a high mile BM - don't
Nowadays 100k on a car is nothing at all (as long as it is regularly serviced), I am knocking around in a 2003 V70 with 86k miles on the clock, still looks and drives like new and probably good for another 86k (at least)......
