You can't go wrong with a SMP IMHO - I have 3 of different versions. This is the first one I bought back in 2000 and have it serviced twice in that time. The last service was a couple of weeks ago done by a company called watchdoctors.co.uk - who were recommended to me. £81 for a service, reseal and pressure testing. All turned around in less than a week yes
Has anyone else used watchdoctors?
Prices look good and they seem to offer quick turn around.

Mine could really do with a new bezel (bought mine 2nd hand like that, not my fault!!)and from what the previous owner said, it's coming up for a service. smile

If not, any other suggestions?

I would be interested to hear if others have used watchdoctors... am considering them for my Breitling service... having been quoted a faintly ridiculous £270.00 by my local jeweller......

They have to be better than Omega uk.

Shocking service in all respects.

Found this on TZUK

http://www.tz-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&...

Over the last few months a number of members have asked for recommendations and they have come up near the top of the list every time.

I used Watchdoctors to repair my Grandad's JW Benson gold pocket watch as the mainspring had gone. They were very efficent, emailed me with a quote and did the work in about 10 days for about £70 (inc Special Delivery) which included a service and 3 month guarantee.

May drop them an email and see how much what I want would cost.
