Mk4 PD150 - Turbo Cuts Out ?
Discussion
I have a MK4 Golf PD150, It had a new turbo fitted 2k ago with all new piping. Yesterday whilst pushing on down the M20 (Late for a funeral)the turbo just cut out, This is the first time it has happened (apart from when a pipe blew off). Is there a safety feature that triggers a valve when the pressure gets to much to save the turbo ? I have only owned the car for 2k miles so am unsure of the intricacies of the engine. Also the car has been chipped (or so I am lead to believe) to 190bhp and has had the EGR valve removed and a blanking plate fitted.
Thanks
Thanks

If you were pushing it i reckon you have blown one of the hoses off, almost put money on it, the hose clips are crap on them. Thanks
