(possibly) Thick A6 avant rear dear/window question

I think I know this answer to this, but just in case I've missed something really obvious:

Is it possible to open just the rear window on the avant rather than the whole door? You know, for making access to the boot easier if you have a bike rack/etc on the back.

The wife's Range Rover does it and the BMW 530d touring I chopped in for the A6 did it. So prior to getting the Audi, most of my cars, did it...

It might not be common on all hatch/estate cars, but it is very very useful if you're carrying stuff on the back (i.e. on a towbar mounted thingy - i.e bikes).
