touareg space etc?

hi. some advice needed if possible. considering swapping my ancient land rover defender 90 for a capable vehicle, must be big enough for 2 adults, small child / baby / to carry bikes as well. touaregs seem like a good option, how is the space in the rear / boot area? also in terms of practicality, with my defender i just lob everything in and dont worry about it. is a touareg similar? 2.5 diesel would be perfect, remember what car i am coming from.

IMHO... the VW is more refined.. Obviously...than the landrover... its not so utilitarian inside....

Yes, you could "lob" stuff in the back, it will get dirty... but who really cares!

They are fantastic cars to drive, unlike the defender..... and infinatly safer...


If you can, I would highly recomend the V6 3.0 TDI engine.... its so so smooth, quiet and is acutally more efficient than the 2.5L engine.. I drove both and the difference is quite clear!

good points...i need to drive one nearer the time. a new style discovery too.
