i did this to my brothers bike whilst he was away doing his uni exams with him coming back 3 days before taking it to canada for the summer! i figured he'd love it or cry, either way i'd win, turned out he loved it...

May i suggest you do the gay version, or the national geographic version?

How did you do that may I ask? And do you deal with wrapping as a job? I was looking at doing my road bike, I'm a bit bored of the current colour scheme and fancy a change tongue out

Nah mate, it wasn't a pro job by any stretch of the imagination. Basically, texted everyone in my phone "i need your old porn and smut ad's in the bag of mags, ideally the stuff thats not stuck together please". Then i spend many many hours cutting stuff out so that i was ready for when he went back to uni for his exams. Then, stole a can of spray mount from work, stuck it all down with the help of a few mates (took 2 evenings) then hung it in the garage and sprayed it with laquer. VERY slowly at first (just a dusting, if it soaks into the paper, it ruins it) then eventually i was able to spray properley. I used 6 cans of laquer in the end. and it still wasn't right. If i did it again i'd either get it finished with proper laquer from a spray gun, rather than a can, or if it was something like a car (ie, without so many gussets, welds and tight intricate bits) i'd get it wrapped, or sticky back plastic'ed if i was feeling cheap!

You should deffo do it, everyone loves if when they find out how you do it, even my old lady neighbour was interested when i was doing it...

Maybe not porn, maybe something else? I figured a "pictures from gardeners world magazine" bike would be kinda funky.

I would go for full gloss black all over (painted) thoses wrapps peel and crack off with time, and go for some satin/matt detailing such as wheels mirrors grills etc...

have a look at www.spautomotive.co.uk

we could give you a quote for this.

Always do a good discount for pistonheaders!

Thanks Ryan
