F**king Internrt & MW:2 -PS3

I can't get passed the Online status page - it is stuck saying "Fetching playlist..Updating Ranks & Unlocks... Connecting to matchmaking server"

First of all are the servers back online? Now my internet is obviously working but the there is the issue with NAT Type.

I am 99% I am on NAT type 2 - Whatever the fk that mean?

I have a router that goes to a central switch that then goes to another switch in my room (Via etherenet) at connects to both my PS3 & Computer again Via ethernet!


Please any ideas, Its driving me fking raving!

Just reset it - Connects everywhere else no problem, Signs in to PSN no problem. And does bugger all on MW!!
World at war works fine :s

Still no luck, I have even but the IP of the PS3 in a DMZ, any Ideas anyone?

it was doing this to me recently too, they recently updated mw2 because of trophy problems, and the game stopped working online properly, apparently its due to server updates or something. and it should all have been corrected by today.

if its not that then ive no idea tbh but it sounds exactly the same as the problems i had.

Trying to turn upnp off now. Can someone just cofirm that the servers are up and functioning?

Just had two games. Servers are up and running as far as I can tell.

Thanks jas! It turns out my belkin Router was stopping it. I have switched it out with a bt one that we had spare and that seem fine. Hopefully. Not finished setting it up yet!
